Anthony Francis is the founder and President of Uni Enterprises, Inc. In addition to managing the firm, Mr. Francis takes an active role with clients, and his extensive transactional and corporate finance experience serves as a valuable resource. Through membership on boards of directors and his active involvement in outside business operations, Mr. Francis has developed a keen understanding of the challenges faced by middle market and emerging growth companies.
Mr. Francis has negotiated, structured and executed various types of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; corporate and transactional financing, including venture capital, mezzanine and conventional financing; and private placements. He has been involved in over 1,000 transactions over the past 3 decades.
With experience as an investment banker, Mr. Francis has also developed a unique understanding of the issues faced and alternatives available for distressed companies. He has particular experience in developing financial restructuring plans, negotiating with creditors and guiding debtors through bankruptcy proceedings. Nationally recognized for his investment banking expertise, Mr. Francis lectures on timely issues relating to middle market investment banking.
In addition to his three decades of investment banking experience, Mr. Francis has founded, operated and sold seven private companies in the past. This experience has given him a truly unique understanding of the goals and concerns of the private business owner. Mr. Francis has served on boards of directors of several companies.

Stephen Patterson serves as Vice President of Uni Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Patterson leads the firm’s Professional Services Group. In addition to leading the PSG, Mr. Patterson assumes an active role in the Company’s transactions.
Having served more than 30 years in corporate financial leadership roles of middle market and emerging growth companies, Mr. Patterson understands clients’ issues. Moreover, he has extensive experience in achieving clients’ operational and financial objectives.
Mr. Patterson has served as CFO of a number of public and private companies from start-ups to lower middle market managing both growth and turnaround situations. His industry experience includes professional services, manufacturing, alarm security, wholesale distribution, energy, high-tech and healthcare. His key areas of expertise include corporate growth and recovery, acquisitions and divestitures, and public and private, debt and equity capital raises. Mr. Patterson has been involved in leading numerous corporate transactions, ranging from simple private debt re-financings to IPOs and warrant calls.
From his extensive experience managing financially distressed companies, Mr. Patterson has developed an ability to identify opportunities and execute plans to maximize shareholder value. These plans typically involved extensive negotiations with management and workers, the IRS, banks, vendors and other creditors. Whether serving as a line officer or as an outside consultant, Mr. Patterson has repeatedly made significant contributions to the success of many organizations. Additionally, Mr. Patterson is often a feature speaker on topics such as corporate financial reporting and liquidity management.
Mr. Patterson is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Louisville.
